Our Belief-
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:30,31), that the Bible is the holy inspired word of God (2 Timothy 3:16,17) and is the only authority for what we practice and teach, that Christ will return to take His kingdom home to God (1 Corinthians 15:24).  We emphasize worship in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24), every member evangelism (Acts 8:4), Godly living (Titus 2:11-12), Loving each other (John 13:33-34), and helping those in need (James 1:27). The Church of Christ is organized as the scriptures teach with Elders, deacons, and members as in New Testament times (Philippians 1:1).  The Bible teaches that we must be faithful members of a local congregation of believers (Hebrews 10:25).

We do support Evangelists in their efforts to save souls and build congregations,(2 Tim 4:5, Titus 1:5) but we are a self edifying body of believers(Ephesians 4:16). The benefits of mutual edification are overlooked by many believers. By following this New Testament model we encourage deeper knowledge and faith of the members that present sermons and offer a practical application of spiritual truth in a wider variety of ways. We encourage increasing Bible knowledge through open discussion and study of God’s word.  We practice acapella music since musical instruments are not found in the New Testament and were not introduced into the worship service until approximately 666 AD.

Our Mission-
The mission of The Church of Christ is to bring people to Christ and membership into His family (Acts 8:4), develop them into mature Christians (Hebrews 5:12-14) and equip them for ministry in the Church and world to magnify God’s name (Matthew 28:18-20).

How Can you be saved?
Men tend to make salvation either too hard or too simple. God says to be saved you must Hear the Word (Romans 10:17), Believe (John 3:16), Repent of your sins (Acts 2:38), Confess Jesus is the Son of God (Romans 10:9), be Baptized into Jesus (Acts 2:38), and live faithfully for Jesus (Revelation 2:10).  If you would like to learn more of what God wants or you have more questions please feel free to contact one of the Elders and we would be pleased to help you.
